State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli: Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community

Throughout June, the LGBTQ+ community and allies celebrated World Pride and Stonewall 50. I took part by honoring five courageous leaders at our Pride Month Reception for their ongoing advocacy fighting for justice and equality for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers. And in keeping with our tradition, I also marched with a group of supporters through the streets of New York City for the annual Pride March.

While the June celebrations have ended, my office's work continues. We're fighting for diversity on corporate boards, to empower LGBTQ+ youth and against discriminatory laws that target the LGBTQ+ community. You can learn more about our work here.
