Phone Bank to Save Our Court!
Join the Lesbian and Gay Democratic Club of Queens, Equality NY, the Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club, the Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn, the New Visions Democratic Club, the Powhatan and Pocahontas Democratic Club, the Queens County Young Democrats and the Stonewall Democratic Club of NYC for a virtual phone bank to save Our Court.
In 2016, the U.S. Senate majority announced that no Supreme Court Justice should be nominated in a Presidential election year - declaring that "the People should decide." In 2020 we could not agree more.
This year Senators are trying to go back on their word even after voters have already started voting and with only weeks before Election Day.
We must remind Senators to keep their word and ensure no vote or confirmation until after the election when a new President and Senate - reflecting the will of the people - can put forth a nomination.
