An Early Owles Pride
In its annual Pride kickoff celebration, the Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club honors:
Recording artist Tituss Burgess, whose recent Broadway credits include “Jersey Boys,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “Guys and Dolls”;
Former Manhattan State Senator Catherine Abate, who now heads up the Community Health Care Network; and
Christopher Sieber, whose Broadway work — including “La Cage Aux Folles,” “Spamalot,” “Shreck,” and “Chicago” — has earned him two Tony nominations.
Award presenters include stage actor Jesse Vargas, former City Councilwoman Ronnie Eldridge, and stage actor Benton Whitley.
Manhattan Assemblyman Keith Wright will speak at the top of the evening.
